Reflective Teacherās Forum: a Guided Support Group for ESOL Practitioners
Course Description
This course is an opportunity for ESOL teachers who wish to develop their skills by exploring and reflecting on their teaching practice. In-person meetings provide a structured forum for teachers to present issues and challenges they are experiencing in the classroom and receive support and guidance from both the moderator and their peers. Between in-person meetings, there will be opportunities for peer-to-peer online discussions and peer mentoring.Format Participants attend 12 hours of in-person classes, in addition to 40 hours of study and reflection online as part of a professional community of practice.Participant Expectations This course is open to both new and experienced teachers. No prerequisites.
